The Spartans rule this Halloween, there’s no doubt about it. I sell a lot of costumes and props for costumes this time of year and this year everyone wants 300. I have sold more Spartan shields and swords than I would have guessed. Armor is still very hot, but I think the knights are going to be outnumbered this year. So if you still don’t have a costume, there is still time! 300 Rules!
Well, the Renaissance Faire was even better than I expected. Not only did I have a grand old time, but I met quite a few really interesting people. One very cool guy makes his own leather armor, these are some of the most intricate and well designed pieces I’ve ever seen, soon they will be offered by a2armory.com! I also met a couple who does custom wood work for swords and other medieval weapons. Their work is absolutely beautiful and they have access to any wood available in the world… amazing stuff. I’m going to be partnering with them in the coming months so all of you will be able to get the sword of your dreams, no matter how crazy it is. We’re also going to be stocking a huge new variety of practice swords and wooden weaponry. Everything from axes to polearms… all handmade. Good stuff and good times, how can you beat that!
