Medieval Costumes

Posted in Medieval Costumes at 8:45 pm by Administrator

Lionheart Gambeson Medieval CostumeWell, the pistols are still coming but I just got an opportunity to add a new line of medieval clothing and decided to go for that first. I’m really excited about it, I’ve been looking for a medieval costume line for years. Now I’ve got one!

There are costumes and clothing for men, women, and children. We are also in the process of adding a new line of LARP weapons. These are latex weapons for Live Action Role Playing and they are awesome. I’ll drop a line as soon as they are up. In the meantime check out the new costumes, here are the links:

Women’s Medieval Clothing

Children’s Medieval Costumes

Let me know what you think! Also, remember that the 10% discount offer ends tomorrow so get your orders in before midnight to get that big savings!

New Pistols and Big Guns Coming Soon

Posted in Medieval Products at 8:36 pm by Administrator

Hey hey just wanted to throw a quick update atcha! A2 Armory is soon to be offering a new line of Flintlock Pistols and World War II guns.

These are even cooler than the ones we currently offer. Some are deluxe models of the pistols we already sell (made from better materials and more working action) and the World War II guns are incredibly detailed pieces great for display or stage use. I’ll give another shout when they have been added to the store so you can check them out for yourself.

And just another reminder that the 2009 sale is still going on but only until the end of the month. Be sure to order by then to get the 10% discount, it’s going to go down in Feb. Enjoy Lost tonight!

Medieval Costumes and Accessories

Posted in Medieval Products at 6:56 pm by Administrator

World War II German HelmetA2 Armory loves reenactors! I myself have not yet taken part in a reenactment but I’ve been a to a few and I know how hard it can be to find inexpensive costume pieces to round out your presentation. All of the weapons and clothing that A2 Armory offers are authentically styled and priced to fit your budget.

We have medieval chainmail, armor, replica swords and more for knights; tri-corner hats, muskets and blunderbuss, and flintlock pistols for pirates, and Civil War costumes, World War II helmets, and black powder guns for soldiers. No matter what you’re transforming yourself into, A2 Armory can help you achieve an authentic look.

I’m always happy to help with any questions you may have regarding proper uniforms or weaponry. Give me shout or leave a comment and I’ll attend to you forthwith!

So What Did You Get for Christmas?

Posted in Armory at 10:07 pm by Administrator

I pose this question to all of you who celebrate because it’s fun and because I like to talk about what I got and it’s only polite to give you a turn too :)

I got a mini cat trebuchet. It’s a small contraption for your desk that launches half inch kitties as fast as you can load them. I love it. I also got an awesome book on World War II, can’t wait to tuck into it.

For Mike’s parent’s I had a custom medieval shield made with their family crest. It turned out really well and they were blown away by it. I’ll tell you, that is one of the coolest gifts you can give and there is no one on the planet who would anticipate it. Here is a picture of the Turzo Medieval Shield.

So now it’s your turn! I want to know what awesome gifts you gave and received this year. Anything as fun as my trebuchet?

Cut off for Ground Shipping is tomorrow!

Posted in Holiday Armor at 4:09 pm by Administrator

Get your orders in today! The shipping companies cut off for guaranteed delivery by the 24th via ground shipping is tomorrow! After 3pm tomorrow we won’t be able to guarantee delivery by the holidays for anything sent ground. There is a chance it will get to you if you wait but that chance grows smaller and smaller with each passing day, get your orders in now!

I figure the holidays are stressful enough without having to worry whether your gifts are going to arrive on time so I like to keep my customers abreast of the cut off dates. We will always be happy to ship using whatever method you prefer but we can’t make the shipping companies work faster so we are all left to their mercy.

So I just wanted to give you all a heads up because I love you so much and I want your holiday to be as perfect as you want it to be! The huge holiday sale is still going on, so be sure to visit A2 Armory for medieval weapons at a discount this holiday!

Arrrrrrrghhhhh, ya feelin’ lucky punk?!?!

Posted in Knightly Tales at 3:59 pm by Administrator

There once was a little boy who loved pirates.  His infatuation was actually kind of creepy.  Some even said this little boy had a problem, which is why he was admitted to the asylum.  Arggghhh this, Argggggh that… it was really annoying, which is why he was given his own room at the psych ward.  We shall call this little boy Logan.

Logan was a strange little kid and he got beat up all the time.  Surprisingly, Logan was able to rebound rather quickly from these barrages of brutality.  On average it only took him about 3 hours to recover.

Shortly after admitting Logan, the hospital was excited to hear about a top secret government project called Barong D, a follow-up project to Weapon X (which resulted in a furry Canadian guy with a metal skeleton which was, years later,  taken away by a greedy Magnet).  It appeared that working at the “crazy” hospital provided a lot of free time for its employees who used it to learn how to hack into top secret government computer networks.  This might have been aided by the fact that the only VHS tapes available were Hackers and The Karate Kid with the swanky chick - boys do cry, and they cry a lot apparently, which is why Hackers was the more popular of the two.

This top secret government project that nobody but the hospital knew about was requesting a really annoying “piratey kid” who could get beat up and recover quickly.  Redonk, the janitor of the hospital, was like “Whoa!” (just as Joey L. would say) as he realized that Logan fit the bill.  So they sent little Logan away to the government, but not after beating him up one more time to make sure he healed as well as they remembered.  Three hours later, he was gone.

13 years passed by, and no one heard anything from that annoying little pirate kid.  Suddenly, one fine 13th of Friday in October there was a rap upon the front door.  It was signed - “25 cent”.  As he grabbed the note, Redonk exclaimed: “I am lucky tonight!  Whoa!  I should buy a Lotto ticket!”

“ARRRRRGGGGYYYHHHHHH, Ya feelin’ lucky punk?!?!”

Redonk jumped as the piratey sound shivered his timbers.  He looked up and saw a strapping young lad who looked an awful lot like that annoying little Logan kid except now he was draped in full Pirate Garb - including the 3 P’s (parrot, patch and peg).  He also had two really cool hooks for hands.

“Whoa! Nice hooks mate…”

That was all he got a chance to say as his barnacles were cleaned out with metal.

Redonk obviously was not very lucky.
