It’s Time For Another A2 Armory Giveaway!
We’re giving away a free Pair of Natural Wood Katanas to a randomly chosen winner. No purchase is necessary, all you need to do to enter is leave a comment telling me what you love about these katanas or what you would do with them if you’re the winner.
This natural wood practice sword looks and feels like a real sword which will make your practice session much more effective.

This sword is 40 inches overall and made of gorgeous Red Oak wood. This is a solid practice sword you will be able to use for years to come whether you’re actually fighting with it or just have it hanging on your wall.
The set up for the giveaway does not come with the nylon handle grip pictured above. It is completely wrap-free so you can choose a handle wrap best suited for your purposes. The picture to the right is what your sword handles will look like.
The winner will be announced on Friday, July 17th at 2pm EST. Please email me any questions and leave your comment below!
Don’t worry if you’re not a martial artist or you have no desire to actually fight with these swords - you don’t have to, they’re just as awesome hanging on your wall. And because they’re so light you don’t need fancy sword hangers to make them secure.
If you are into sword fighting these wooden practice swords rock. They are well balanced and finished so you won’t have to worry about splinters if you fight without gloves.
Either way you want to go, these katanas are sure to catch attention. I have two hanging in my office, they look great and really help when you need to take out some frustration!

These swords look beautiful…and a chance to win not one, but two! You're blowing my mind! I wouldn't want them to fight with, but they would be a great display piece in my home above my mantle. My husband would definitely brag to all of his friends if we were to win these swords.
I might take one down from the wall once it a while, just to relieve some stress…but in a safe way!

i would love to own a pair of these wooden katanas! i have a very diverse collection of asian weapons..and these would go very well with my other wooden weapons! i would not use them but rather keep them in my collection and keep them in good shape. Me and my son have been adding to our collection for about 5 years now and it is turning out to be quite impressive.

I think these are beautiful swords that would compliment my home's decor. I like the Red Oak look and I am sure they are quite durable as well, so if I get bored I can take them down and battle my friends. Thanks for the wonderful offer.

oh man, if i had these swords, the possibilities would be endless. First I would smell them, just because i think they look like nice smelling swords, then i would do one of the following…..
1- fight the raccoon outside my house that attacked one of our chickens at 4 am this morning.
2- fight the ninja living in my attic (he has been stealing one of each of my socks so im left to mismatch them all, jerk)
C- pay an unexpected visit to my friend Ted who has a plethora of swords, wooden and inflatable, and fight him to the death.
4-bring them to the salon i work in and attempt to cut hair with them.
5-take pictures for myspace and facebook with me holding one and my 6 month old goddaughter holding the other.
in conclusion, i think i would be a great owner for said swords.
thank you for your time

The wood these practice katanas are made from is lovely… I’d retire my current practice katana which has seen better days - the tip being chewed up by the two new recent additions to my family. Puppies. And replace it with these two katanas for a less-splintery kenjutsu training experience
- Admin - You are the randomly selected winner. Congrats!

the katanas look magnificent and wonderful, i actually would like to win them so that i could one: learn to use katanas i'm more of a broadsword guy, two: teach my little brother how to use katanas since he is into anime sword fighting
so anyways if i don't win its cool to know that someone else will be able to enjoy them.

Beautiful finish and a nice choice of wood, if this is real Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra) then it’s weight to strength ratio makes it a perfect choice for a bokken. I have no plans to run out and try to hit anyone with them but they would be a great tool in order for me to perfect my forms.

Ive always admired samurai and their code of bushido. To me, owning a katana would be a dream come true. Im no samurai, but even I can tell that the workmanship on those katanas is solid.
And I would love to take a few swings with those babies. When Im not using them to engage in mortal combat, they would be hanging on my bedroom wall above my bed, ready to be used at a moment’s notice should any enemy (like my brother) dare to defile my bedroom!

I am almost 12 now, and have been in love and have been using swords since the age of 3. When i was 3 i had a very nasty accident, and before i went into hospital, the first thing i asked for to be bought with me was my practice sword, and from the looks of these 2 wooden katanas they are a must have thing.

I just love swords, I have a wall in my home just for my weaponcollection, but I don’t want to practice my skills with those swords, these is a chance two fight and practice with friends. also beautiful to display next to my real katana. they ae also very well made.

I would love to have these swords. I would like to have something to mess with. Since i don’t have an xbox anymore I could practice with these swords and maybe lose some weight in the process. They would be a great thing to have because my friend and I both use sticks to fight and they really hurt your hands after a while. These would be the first thing I have ever won.. and sadly I’m not even kidding. Hope I win! This giveaway was a great idea!

I would use these two Katanas as a beginning of what I want to someday be a large personal collection of swords, Katanas, medieval clothing/armor, and other weaponry from past times.
I would begin to start training myself to use these in combat, training with my younger brother. I would probably watch instructional videos online to help out.
These look to be of great quality and resemble the actual Katanas greatly and would be an awesome start to my collection.

If i win these, you will do me a great favor. I’m looking for there for over five years and i didn’t find them at all. I train martial arts for over 10 years now, but never had a chance to buy them in slovenia because they do not have here katanas. They’ve got just kung fu swords. I would be very happy to have them.

Those red oak katanas would make a great gift for my brother and father, who are avid knive and sword collectors.
I’m sure that these would be displayed as prominently as their other collectibles.

u are all compleat pscyos get a life and not a swoard why use swoard when guns are better u can shoot people in the face and not have 2 worry that thal get back up and stab you in the back
-From Admin - I think you might be missing the point. Also I don’t believe a gun is generally the Ninja’s first choice of weapon.

thank you. that is an expensive way to build a list. i would love to know if the list is worth the expense.
i think the katana is more representative than useful — or more useful as a symbol than its referent object. it should hang prominently at the office to remind us to behave honorably especially when it is most difficult.

Well first of all they look great. I would use them as door prize for the BLUE KNIGHTS MOTORCYCLE RIDE. The ride is for kids with cancer, cops and other local charities. It would be a honor to recieve these swords to try and help out the kids.

Do you need a reason to want to wooden practice swords?! Seriously, I might have grown up a little bit, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy pretending I am a Shinobi fending off a sworn enemy when nobody is looking… Plus, who doesn’t want two swords handing on the wall in their foyer for everyone to see? Forget a dog, these babies will let intruders know that I mean business!
